New things are coming!

We’ve recently decided on a slight shift in our Vision and Strategy.

In essence, we’re getting back to the heart of what drove the beginnings of Impactivity.

If you want to hear about how I (Tracy) felt confused, discouraged, and alone, you can scroll down to read more.

But definitely take a few seconds to check off all the ideas below that especially interest you.

We’ll let you know as soon as new stuff launches!

How it all got started…

So, there I was, a thirty-ish Christian woman who had long realized that I didn’t “fit.” Everyone around me seemed solely focused on their homes and young families. I had a husband and kids that I totally loved, and loved serving. But I also had other interests.

I wanted to write books.
I wanted to start businesses.
I wanted to do something that would make a difference not only inside my home, but outside of it as well.

Where were the rest of them women like me? Seemingly nowhere.

I spent many years pursuing the Dreams that I believed God had gifted me for, and called me to. But also questioning whether I was selfish and misguided.

Over time, God assured me that He had not given me gifts in vain, and that His purposes for me included using those gifts. I began to feel a security in who I was as a person, and in His plan for me.

And my heart began to turn from my own insecurities toward others who might feel as alone and confused as I once did.

And so the book, Impactivity, flowed out of me. Because writing is what I knew how to do.

More resources followed – blog posts, workbooks, guides, checklists, journal pages, and many podcast episodes. Rachel joined me, and together we began to crank out the content for those of you we wished to serve.

But along the way, we perhaps began to lose sight a bit of the original motivation – to connect with women, and to connect them to each other – so that none of us felt alone.

And it takes more than blog posts and podcasts to do that, no matter how useful they might be.

We want to empower, care for, support, and connect with Christian women who want to pursue both a healthy family life and the pursuit of a Dream they believe God has gifted them for and called them to.

In general, we don’t see this happening in churches. We don’t see women coming alongside each other to support one other in the pursuit of their businesses, careers, or professional lives.

So here at Impactivity, as we recently reexamined our Vision and Strategies, we realized that we have created lots of great content to help you personally Dream, Unshackle, Design, Ignite, and Recharge. But we also realized that we want to do much more in the area of Connection.

Our heart for community has only grown since we began. And our community itself has grown (that’s you!).

We want to create a safe space where you belong and where you can talk to others like you.

We want to be living life alongside of you. We are also struggling through implementing all the things involved in a life of Impactivity, just like you.

We want to create content that will generate discussion and promote accountability, and then create a community where this discussion and accountability can happen.

We’re really excited about what’s next for Impactivity. And we need your feedback! Please scroll back up and take a few seconds to fill out that form.

You’ll hear from us soon!

Warmly,
Tracy
